Our history
Where people meet - yesterday, today and tomorrow
Sørmarka was established by LO in 1939 as a recreation area for workers - with the forest as a backdrop and solidarity as a value base. Today we're open to everyone, but the history is still in the walls. We still believe in good meetings, genuine experiences and nature that lowers your shoulders. And we still want everyone to feel welcome.
