The Transparency Act
Sørmarka Konferansehotell is covered by the Transparency Act, which came into force on July 1, 2022, because we are part of a group.
For us, it means more than following the law, it's about taking responsibility. We work actively to prevent, manage and reduce the risk of human rights violations, ensure decent working conditions, protect the environment and counteract corruption and bribery - both in our own operations and through our suppliers and partners.
Our Code of Conduct is based on three simple but important principles: honesty, respect and sustainable development. All employees and business partners should support these values. The Code gives us a clear framework for acting with good judgment, honesty and consideration, every day.
We also have our own ethical guidelines for suppliers and the entire value chain. They ensure that the goods and services we use are produced with respect for both people and the environment. We expect our suppliers to live up to the same standards as us when it comes to ethics and sustainability.
As a social player, we want to contribute to a better and more sustainable society. We are committed to acting ethically, socially responsible and in line with the law, for the benefit of the local community, partners, employees and owners.
In line with the Transparency Act, we regularly map the risk of violations of human rights and working conditions in all parts of our business, and work purposefully to reduce these. Our annual report is published no later than June 30 each year, and you can find the latest report below.
