Our meeting rooms

We offer a wide range of meeting spaces, from private boardrooms to large halls with capacity for over 200 attendees.

Most of our meeting rooms feature natural daylight, scenic views of nature, and flexible layouts. Technical equipment is readily available, and we facilitate physical, hybrid, and digital meetings, supported by our own dedicated studio for streaming and recording. For an alternative setting, you can meet around the fire pit, in our open-sided shelter (gapahuk), or perhaps in our private outdoor amphitheater. We are always happy to take your meeting outside.

Storsalen (The Great Hall)

The Great Hall is a versatile venue used for everything from conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions to events and banquets. It features expansive windows with stunning views of Syverudtjernet Lake.

Festsalen (The Banquet Hall)

The pond

Perfect for everything from business meetings to private celebrations. The space opens onto a large terrace with a direct view of the pond, where guests can gather for a full meal or simply enjoy grilling by the fire pit. With an integrated sound system and a flexible layout, the options for your stay are truly limitless.

Peisen, Myra, Stien and Kollen

Looking for smaller meeting rooms for workshops, group work, or breakout sessions? Our dedicated rooms—Peisen, Myra, Stien, and Kollen—provide the exact flexibility required. They are perfectly suited for both classroom and U-shape setups, ideal for everything from brainstorming and training to focused project meetings.

The panorama & the ridge

When you need a space to gather a large group while maintaining high energy, the Utsikten (View) or Åsen (Ridge) rooms are the perfect choices. These large, bright venues can be configured for Classroom or U-shape setups, providing ample space for courses, lectures, and workshops.

Sørmarka is located only 20 minutes from Oslo city center and 40 minutes from Gardermoen by car. Easily accessible, but with nature as your closest neighbor.

We have 38 meeting rooms, including 3 large conference rooms with space for up to 250 people, as well as flexible group rooms for workshops and smaller meetings.

Yes, we offer free parking right outside the entrance and have charging stations for electric cars at current rates. Remember to bring your own cable.

All rooms have modern AV solutions and we can offer studio options for streaming, recording and hybrid events.

Our restaurant and Bar 39 offers everything from buffets and multi-bowl serving to informal mingle food. We are happy to tailor the menu to your needs.

Yes, we have both equipment and expertise for digital and hybrid meetings, with technical support along the way.

There is a bus to Sørmarka from Oslo bus terminal every 30 minutes. The fastest travel time is approximately 45 minutes by bus 550. The walking distance from the bus stop to the hotel is approximately 10 minutes.
